This gem in Japan was a delightful surprise! the attention to detail and tradition in this hotel was remarkable. the welcome tea and rice cake were a great touch and the kaiseki dinner was one of the best meals we had on our city trip. We enjoyed the warm tones and textures of the decor and the peaceful hot spring that was perfect after a day of exploring. the location was easy to find with helpful staff and the bus stop right in front of the entrance. An added bonus was the calming sound of the nearby river.
The lack of bathroom in the rooms, but that is to be expected in a traditional ryokan. it was not a major issue as the shared bathrooms were clean and well-maintained.

The traditional Japanese-style room overlooked a serene river, creating a peaceful ambiance. The nine-course dinner served in a private room was really good, showcasing the best of Japanese cuisine. The onsen experience was rejuvenating, especially with the scenic view from the men's bath. I highly recommend this unique and culturally immersive hotel.

Get lost in the traditional Japanese experience at this stunning hotel located in the outskirts of the city. the welcoming staff will teach you about local traditions such as wearing a yukata and enjoying a welcome tea in a 400, year, old garden. Take a relaxing soak in the hot tub while enjoying the sound of the nearby waterfall. Unwind in a spacious room with comfortable futons and a lovely view of the river. the kaiseki dinner is a must, try, with attentive attendants introducing you to a wide range of delicious Japanese cuisine.
While the hotel offers a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city, it may take some time to reach via public transportation.

During our Easter excursion, we stayed at an authentic and historic Japanese inn. The location was stunning, nestled beside a river where we watched rare birds fly by. The traditional cooking and service were fascinating. It was a 10-course Japanese meal, presented to our table with intricate care. The kimono-clad serving ladies were elegant and polite.
We didn't like the traditional Japanese staircase, which was difficult to navigate quickly. , the clogs provided were too small for us.
